Description of holiday home: Holiday home - Nr. Fjand in Grenå/Ebeltoft & other Central Jutland

The area was already inhabited in the Iron Age, as evidenced by the findings of 55 building sites at Nr. Fjand. Here at Nissum Fjord you will find an impressive typical North Sea landscape in the protection of the dunes, where you can observe a wide variety of bird species, including geese and migratory birds. East of Nissum Fjord lies one of the most interesting manor houses in West Jutland, Nørre Vosborg behind a double moat. From the lovely cottage it is not far to Thorsminde, a favorite fishing spot and here it is always fun to follow a fish auction. Here the stranding museum tells the tragic story of the two English warships that sank into the depths of the sea in a hurricane on Christmas Day 1811 with almost 1400 sailors.
