Krik Vig is the right vacation spot if you are looking for a child-friendly swimming beach and calm fjord waters for water sports without being too far from the luring freshness of the North Sea. Trips can take you from this attractive vacation home to Vestervig, once a bishop's seat and cultural center and still with a village church that is considered Scandinavia's largest. On the way to Krik is the beautifully restored 'Klostermølle' and next to it 'Æ Beeshus' a small museum building which gives an insight into local history including the cattle trade with Norway. Not far away is the busy fishing port of Thyborøn, whose attractions range from 'Sneglehuset' (snail house) to JyllandsAkvariet and the fishing and rescue museum to Kystcentret, the largest experience and education center on the west coast.
