The town of Labin is an ideal starting point for excursions to Opatija, one of the most famous places in the Kvarner Bay, with well-kept street cafes and a long promenade for long walks. If you have enough time, you should not miss the islands of Cres and Lo?inj, which can be reached by ferry from Brestova. Istria is known for its excellent cuisine; we especially recommend the stockfish, mussels na ?Buzara Art? as well as the Istrian pasta ?Fu?i? or a grill platter with different kinds of meat, served with a glass of Malvasia white wine, should perfectly round off your vacation.
