Pine and birch trees grow on the natural plot with plenty of space for development, where this beautiful vacation home is located. In a few minutes drive you are at the wide, child-friendly sandy beach with bathing jetty, where dunes protect you from the west wind. The location in a huge recreational area, where the Mariager Fjord flows into the Kattegat, invites you to relaxing walks through the forest or along the beach along the coast. The passionate sports fisherman will be pleased with the good fishing waters in the sea and the fjord or take advantage of the 'Put & Take' lakes in the area. During the summer season you can rent water skis at the water ski club. You can also enjoy a fjord cruise on the old paddle steamer 'Svanen', which runs from Hadsund to Als Odde. The area offers many beautiful excursion destinations and the range of activities is generous. For example, nearby Øster Hurup (10 km) is a tranquil resort with a fishing harbor, restaurants, tennis courts, a tropical bathing area, miniature golf and rental of riding horses, bicycles and surfboards. A somewhat larger selection of goods can be found in Hadsund (15 km) and Hobro (39 km). A recommended destination near Hobro is 'Verdenskortet', where you can walk from continent to continent in a mini-world over lakes, rivers and mountain ranges on the shore of Lake Klejtrup. Near Hobro is also the yacht museum and the Viking center 'Fyrkat'. And there is Mariager, one of the most charming towns in Denmark, which captivates with its half-timbered buildings in the cobblestone alleys and where you can take a healing bath in the salt center at the harbor, among other things (don't forget your bathing suit). Furthermore, you can take an old railroad along the Mariager Fjord through desolate stretches of natural beauty. Aalborg is the largest commercial city in North Jutland and offers a lot of remarkable attractions and sights, such as Tivoliland, Nordjyllands Kunstmuseum and Aalborg Marinemuseum and much more. A trip could also take you to the unique nature of Rebild Bakker, where you can also find Thingbæk lime mines and the circus museum in Rold. At the nearest coast there is a beach meadow. As the nearest sandy beach we can recommend the bathing beach at Øster Hurup.
