With suitable wind conditions, the southeast wind, you may also be lucky enough to find amber. Voergård Castle is one of the prettiest Renaissance buildings in Denmark and certainly worth a visit. Or you can make a trip to Frederikshavn with its idyllic old district Fiskerklyngen, the Krudttårn and the Bangsbo Museum, like its many art galleries and glassblowing workshops.
