Started out as a residential summer villa belonging to the Gargiulo family, still keeping its fascinating atmosphere with antique furnishing, ceramic tiles andthe interesting architectural style of interwoven tufa stone cornices, La Tonnarella has been transformed into a delightful hotel with a backdrop of blue sea. The rooms have a wonderful view of the bay and the bay of Sorrento. Some have large terraces or balconies, some have whirlpool tubs and are decorated in antique style. The hotel has a small private beach with facilities. Hidden among the rocks like a pearl in its shell, La Tonnarella beach is a magical and little known ravine- an explosion of colours and perfumes.
