The Hotel is an old fully renovated fiveteenth-century farmouse or caserio with all the specific features that characterise traditional Basque architecture, thick stone walls and age-old oak wood beams. This typical Biscaian country house also constitutes a brief but special chapter in the great history of soccer because one of the Athletic's and Spanish soccer legends, Jose Iraragorri, lived here.
